Background and Company History
Master Power Technologies has an impeccable pedigree in the critical secure power market and has been an industry leader for more than a decade. MasterGuard, as the company was then called, had its origins in the Siemens Limited South Africa Power Systems Group.
MasterGuard Power Supply Systems GmbH was a wholly-owned Siemens company which was sold to the Chloride plc group in 1999. This resulted in Siemens disinvesting in the manufacture of UPS systems and as a result MasterGuard Technologies (Pty) Ltd was established as an independent South African enterprise.
The Master Power Technologies client base has since benefited from a highly responsive and flexible organisation which has focused on providing direct, value-driven secure power solutions to blue-chip operations in Southern, Central and North Africa, including the continent’s major financial institutions and cellular network service providers.
In 2010 the company changed its name to Master Power Technologies (Pty) Ltd.
