Panel Manufacturing

The dedicated panel manufacturing and assembly facility specialises in panel products for the LV sector.

The manufacturing and stores area covers 2000m2. The panel manufacturing facility occupies 800m2 of this area. All panels are manufactured to the highest standards using the modular Prisma Panel range from Schneider Electric, which meets international and local standards and takes into consideration cascading discrimination and distribution coordination. Busbars are bent and drilled to meet the requirements of each panel. All busbars are then tinned in the tinning plant located in the manufacturing area. Tinning of busbars is undertaken to prevent corrosion of the bare copper.

Merlin Gerin or similar switchgear is used.

The factory is supported by a dedicated computer-aided design department producing detailed SLD & GA drawings for each job.
